The GFS and my favourite player

The GFS is basically my life. Every day I think about it and the people in the George Formby Society, who I hold as my closest friends. The society was established in 1961, the year Goerge Formby died. I only discovered it in 2009 and never went until 2012. I met some fantastic people who have made a great impact on my life.

Anyway, here's me preforming in the GFS last weekend. In the video, I'm singing my favourite song, 'Pasadena'

On the subject of my favourite player, I have 3. Peter Pollard, Dennis Taylor and Dickie Speake.
Peter Pollard

Dennis Taylor
Dickie Speake (The Great!)

1) Peter has a great rhythm and is an all round lovely chap. He has helped me no end with backing tracks and business like that and is a real credit to the society. You'll never see Peter mess up on stage!
2) The dearly missed Dennis Taylor, Dennis was an absolute brilliant player, every note could be heard and he was never a beat out of line.
3) Last but defiantly not least. My all time favourite, Dickie Speake. I could give you lists and lists of why I like Dickie so much, but you can clearly see why in this video.

Well thats another post! Thanks and bye for now
